Aims and objectives of the Trust

  • ♦ With the pious and holistic approach this philanthropic trust established for the betterment of the mankind in general through propagation of spreading of education in general, healthcare as the means of human development.
  • ♦ Strive to bridge the educational gap and empower tribal students to reach their full potential.
  • ♦ To establish, maintain and run studentship, Scholarship or other financial assistance to schools, colleges for the use of students and staffs also for the development and advancement of education.
  • ♦ Education is a necessity for all Section of people so at initial stage of our trust. We implement a programme for Out of the schools children back to school.

Cause Behind the out of School Students

  • ♦ Socio-economic and demographic factors.
  • ♦ They are participation in other economic activities, also poverty and helping in house hold enterprises and also collecting the kendu leaves.
  • ♦ At the age of adolescence they are misguided and going to be married.
  • ♦ Parents are not concern about the education.
  • ♦ Hilly area ,communication is very poor .
  • ♦ Parents and childrens are addicting to bad habbits.

Approaches

  • ♦ By mentoring and tutoring the parents and students by local body members like sarapanch,samitisabhya etc.
  • ♦ Family engagement
  • ♦ Making awarness among the parents
  • ♦ Indivisualized support is also required for the students who are at risk of out of school
  • ♦ The Residential bridge course may decrease the rate of out of school students.In RBC is a programme in which cater the out of school students who are never been to school for various reason
  • ♦ In RBC centre if the students got every opportunity like trained teacher who create interest among the school out of students and develop extracurricular activities like boxing,yoga,basketball,dance and other fun and team building games,Then the students are habbituated for the school environment and then get them admission in regular school ,in this way they may mainstreamed.As this programme taken as a project work then it is possible.
         These centre will be serve as a bridging point between school and community,for those children who are out of school or involved in child labour.

Goverment facilities

  • ♦ The state and central goverment innitiated a lots of facilities for the tribal students.
  • ♦ Sarva sikhya abhiyan is a flagship programme for achievement of universalization of elementary education in a time bound manner.
  • ♦ The state goverment also provided the study materials like books ,bags,uniforms and mid day meal,etc.
         After a lots of effort taken by the goverment ,the rate of absentie students are increasing day by day.

BABITA NAYAK(SECRETARY CUM TRUSTEE)

MA,MPhil,Before Joining Awahan she has experienced in field of Child’s education and interest of gathering reason of dropout children from school in remote areas.

SATYASHILA MISHRA(TRUSTEE)

As a successful businessman he has aspire to join Awahan as Trustee.

BSc,BEd,LLB,ALSO PRESIDENT OF STATE BUS OWNER ASSOCIATION,GENERAL SECRETARY OF BIDI ASSOCIATION,DISRICT GENERAL SECRETARY OF BJP.

BSc,LLB, 23 YEARS experience of Civil Construction business of private and Government contracts.

LAXMIKANTA PRADHAN

BSc ,BE(Electronics and Communication Engineer) 2007 TO2018 worked in UNAMID,(United Nations Peace keeping mission in Darfur ,Sudan)as Trigyn Staff to support UNAMID’s HumanRights ,Civil affairs , Police and Military deployed in peace keeping mission.He has ground experience of how child’s education suffered by civil war driven country.

B-TECH IN ELECTRICAL,WORKING AS A ENGINEER CONTRACTOR SINCE 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ,INVOLVE IN VARIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.
